About Amanda

With a healthcare journey beginning at 15, caregiving is my lifelong passion. This mission guided my work as an OB/GYN Medical Assistant at MaineHealth, where I walked alongside women during significant moments-from pregnancy to complex medical procedures. Beyond clinical settings, my experience includes supporting individuals and families through early-onset dementia and providing compassionate end-of-life care, ensuring dignity, comfort, and peaceful support during life's most challenging transitions. My perspective deepened further when I became a mother. My 14-month-old son has transformed how I see the world, reminding me daily of the power of human connection. Becoming a mom has enriched my empathy, driving me to bring both clinical excellence and heartfelt reassurance to every family I care for.
