About Amanda

Nurturing young minds is my passion. My experience in tutoring, teaching, and now parenting ignited a desire to positively impact children's lives. I am retired from working in tech and bring two years of nannying experience, one year of teaching at a private school, three years of tutoring, one year as a dance teacher, and a college degree to my care. I am patient, creative, and friendly, and I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games. I'm comfortable caring for one child and enforcing household rules. I communicate with parents using their preferred method, including verbal updates at pickup. I am also happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, and swimming supervision. I speak English, Spanish, and Chinese. I'm excited to bring my skills and enthusiasm to your family, creating a fun and enriching environment for your child to thrive.
