I have 2 years of experience with special needs adults with medical needs, and 5 years experience with elderly palliative and home hospice to include but not limited to: -Transportation, assistance shopping, and doctor's appointments. -Cooking, cleaning, bathing, feeding, organizing medications and prompting, scheduling, and companionship. The nursing program I will be entering starts in July. I have held my EMT License for approximately 9 years. I volunteered for the community and worked for private transport for medical patients to include: -Elderly patients in need of medical and psychological interventions -Hospice care, either going home to be cared for by family or transporting to hospice facilities. -Medical interventions to include non-emergent/emergent transports to the ER or Psychiatric facility
