About Amanda

Hello! I wanted to first thank you for your time to check out my profile and possibly consider me to provide responsible, safe, and fun care to your children. I have always enjoyed working with children, even as a young child myself I would "babysit" the younger neighborhood kids, while under parental supervision of course. I later decided to pursue a career helping children as a child psychologist, gaining knowledge through several child/family psychology courses. I also wanted to experience what it would be like to work with young children, so I gained experience at 15 volunteering at a daycare. My professional experience has been as a behavioral technician for children and teens with autism, as well an after-school program instructor, and occasionally babysitting for a teenager with autism. I am First Aid/CPR-Certified and have my own car. I hope to speak with you further about my experience and skills to see if we would be a great fit!
