About Amanda

As a mother myself, I know how important it is to feel you can trust those that look after your children. I make it a goal to establish open and honest communication with parents and I try my best to be the caregiver that I would want my own child to have. I have worked professionally with children for a little over 4 years, with experience ranging from newborn and infant care up to preteen care. I have worked with children diagnosed with ASD and ADHD in at-home therapy programs. Most recently I have been a stay-at-home mother to my own child. I am looking for a position in which I can bring my own child with me. She just turned one and loves to play with other children, especially other toddlers. I believe that childhood should be fun, and I make an effort to include age-appropriate learning activities, time in nature, and imaginative play into everyday life. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology with an emphasis in child development.
