About Amanda

Hi, I'm Amanda! I grew up in a big, close-knit family and have been the go-to babysitter for years, caring for children of all ages-from newborns to teens. I'm comfortable watching multiple kids at once and love creating fun, engaging activities to keep them active, entertained, and safe. I'm also happy to help around the house with meal prep, laundry, cleaning, etc. I completed babysitting certification classes in high school and currently work as a lead veterinary assistant. In my role, I monitor anesthesia, provide daily medical care, and assist with patient treatment plans. This position requires responsibility, quick thinking, and a calm, caring nature-qualities I bring into my work with children as well. In addition, I am currently a mommy helper for three families every week. This has strengthened my ability to adapt to different routines and care styles. My evenings/weekends are usually free, so I'm happy to help with date night sitting or occasional evening care!
