Hello, My name is Amanda and I have two happy healthy children of my own (9 & 12). My very first professional role was in childcare - as I worked various positions at the daycare facility in Sugar Land, TX from 2005-2009. I also connected with a wonderful family here on this site, Care. com, and became a full-time Au-pair for their terrific children from 2009-2010, as I worked to earn my degree in Early Childhood Education - Graduated 2012, UofH Victoria with Honors-Magna Cum Laude. I have worked for the Ft. Bend County School District as a volunteer in years past, and most recently as a full-time aide in the Special Needs program at Niell Elementary in Richmond, TX. I remain a substitute for the district. I hope to connect with a new family that I can help, with my years of experience in childcare, as my own children reach a new stage of maturity.
