About Amanda

Hi! I'm Amanda, a credentialed elementary teacher with a Master's in Education and several years of experience working with students in grades K-5. I specialize in creating engaging, personalized learning experiences in reading, writing, and math, and I love helping students build both confidence and strong academic skills. I've taught in both traditional classrooms and small-group settings, and I'm currently transitioning into more flexible tutoring and homeschool-style education. I'm passionate about meeting each child where they are and making learning feel supportive, meaningful, and even fun. I also bring a unique mindfulness approach to my teaching. As the founder of Mindful Mentors, I've led dozens of lessons helping students develop focus, emotional awareness, and positive habits that support learning. I'm available for one-on-one tutoring or small homeschool pods, and I'm happy to work in-home or at a convenient location. I'd love to support your child's growth this year!
