About Amanda

Empowering students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With 27 years of experience as a Certified teacher, I specialize in Math, English, History, and Test Preparation for elementary through high school students. I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. By breaking complex problems into manageable steps and connecting concepts to your personal interests, I ensure that challenging topics become accessible and engaging. I prioritize open communication with both you and your parents to create a supportive, collaborative environment. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or online, I adapt my strategies to fit your unique learning style. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks is why I love what I do. I am truly looking forward to helping you achieve your goals.
