About Amanda

I am a dependable and nurturing caregiver with a strong sense of responsibility and structure. I honorably discharged from the Army four years ago, and that experience shaped my reliability, patience, and calm presence. I am CPR and AED certified through the American Heart Association, and safety is always my priority. I come from a large family where caring for children was part of everyday life, and I have experience working with special needs children and tutoring. I am currently an environmental engineering major with a hybrid schedule and especially enjoy helping children with math and science. My husband and I are expecting our first child in September, and we made the hard decision for me to leave my full-time job to focus on my education and prepare to being a stay-at-home mom. I am looking to fill this season with meaningful, rewarding work. I am also comfortable caring for dogs and cats and assisting with light housecleaning and tutoring.
