About Amanda

Amanda has been with us for 4 wonderful years and as she alluded to, our needs have now changed. This is a sad day for all of us, the kids in particular. I can't say enough positive things about her. She joined us a few years out of college and jumped right in as a primary caretaker and as part of our family. She has managed 3 boys day to day from breakfast until dinner. She juggled them when our youngest was a new born to now with all three active in sports. She shows up every day to work, ready to work. This means to educate and aid our kids in development, applying all she has learned in college and the years that followed. She has an agenda and makes sure the boys follow it. She is someone you can trust at all times and whose professional opinion is valued. When we decided to hold our middle child back in Pre-K (summer birthday) we had numerous conversations with her along with his teacher to make sure we were making the right decision. After holding him back she worked exclusive with him to insure he would be ready for kindergarten when the time came. She identified his trouble areas and put a plan together to address his speech impediment as well as his fine motor skills. She often sought advice and guidance from the boys teacher(s) to address any learning difficulties before they became problems. Amanda is also very active physically. She will take our kids swimming, bike riding play baseball etc. If you are so fortunate to be her next employer I am happy to act as a reference and answer any questions you may have openly and candidly.
