About Amanda

Caring for others has always come naturally to me. Growing up I helped raise my two younger brothers who are 12 and 14 years younger than me. While my mother worked I often cared for them which helped shape my nurturing personality and today we remain very close. I have also worked at a daycare caring for children from 3 months to 10 years old and nannied twin Russian girls in Manhattan who I still miss dearly. Professionally I come from a hospitality leadership background including management at Four Seasons where providing exceptional service care and attention to detail is the standard. That experience taught me how to anticipate needs and create comfort for others. Caring for my grandmother who has dementia has given me a deeper level of patience compassion and understanding for seniors. I hope to support someone who truly needs an extra hand while providing the same kindness and dignity I would want for my own family.
