Hi, My name is Amanda! I'm from California but have lived in DC, Kansas and Georgia. I've always loved watching and working with kids. In Kansas, I was a Big Sister with Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters, a national organization that matches at-risk kids with adult mentors. Every week, I spent a few hours with my 7-year-old Little Sister. We'd do various activities such as: cooking, arts and sports. I was also a day camp leader for 5 years, where I supervised kids ages 3-14 years old. I was in charge of planning activities and chaperoning the kids during field trips.

Amanda watched my 3 elementary aged children after school M-F. My kids fell in love with her and I felt very comfortable having them in her care. She always did special things with them like trips to Chick-fil-a and the park. We are thankful to have met her!
