About Amalia

Hey! I'm a second-year nursing student passionate about caring for others, especially children. I love being a sitter because it allows me to offer support and compassion to families while building meaningful connections with the kids I care for. It's incredibly rewarding to make a positive impact and provide a helping hand when it's needed most. My experience in childcare include working as a child caretaker at my church, leading Sunday school for 3-5-year-olds, and helping with children's summer programs during mission trips. My responsibilities included supervising, organizing activities, and assisting with tasks like diaper changes. Having two younger siblings has also taught me patience and responsibility. I work as a hospital companion, providing supervision and support to patients, and am CPR certified through my job. I'm comfortable with pets, though I have a mild allergy to cats!
