About Amalia

Hi! I'm Amalia, 20, turning 21 this October! I recently moved from Santa Barbara to San Diego and would love to find new families and pets to care for here! I grew up surrounded by animals, especially dogs. My family has dogs of our own and has also fostered animals in need, giving me experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages & personalities, as well as cats and other animals. Some of our foster dogs came to us pregnant, and I've helped care for multiple dogs through at home births and helped raise multiple litters of puppies, including feeding, socializing, basic training & daily care as they grew. I also grew up volunteering at my local animal shelter, where I learned even more about animal care, behavior & handling. I've had pet sitting jobs in Santa Barbara with great feedback and hope to build those same relationships in San Diego! I'm responsible, patient & will treat your pets like my own!
