Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. I am a retired teacher with 36 years teaching experience. As a certified teacher with experience in implementing 504 student accommodation plans, I prioritize building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning. I assess individual needs by observing how you interact with new material, allowing me to tailor my approach through visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. When concepts feel challenging, I break them down into manageable steps and connect them to your personal interests to maintain momentum. I believe open communication with parents and students is essential for achieving the best outcomes. Whether we meet at a library, community center, or local tutoring hub, I find the greatest joy in witnessing that "aha!" moment when a complex idea finally clicks.
