About Amaiya

Hello!! My name is Amaiya and I love everything art, and nature, especially implementing similar activities while caregiving for children. I worked at a childcare center for about a year in Chicago before moving back home in NC. I was an assistant teacher to a classroom full of super energetic toddlers where we taught them baby sign language like more, all done, please, and help. We had circle time, played on the indoor playground, went for walks, and danced a lot. My favorite part was coming up with arts and craft activities for the kids. I'm currently a babysitter to a 1-year-old and 5-year-old who are siblings. I read to them, we play hide and seek, the floor is lava, and play with puzzles. After babysitting for my coworker I decided to get back into child care and try out babysitting again as I purse my degree in photography, which is just one of my many passion!
