About Amaia

My name is Amaia, and I am an experienced Direct Support Professional with a skills in working with intellectually disabled individuals. Over the years, I have developed an understanding of the needs and challenges faced by those in need and I am dedicated to providing effective support to enhance their quality of life. In addition to my work I am also a skilled Nail Technician. This dual expertise allows me to bring a creative approach to my work which I spend my free time doing when not on the clock. Some of my skills include strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience and empathy in challenging situations, ability to create individualized care plans, excellent organizational and multitasking abilities and commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
