About Amador

Hi my name is Amador, and I'm a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) based in California city, CA. I have several years of experience in hospital, skilled-nursing, and in home care settings, and I specialize in providing compassionate, high quality care to seniors and individuals with complex needs. I was first introduced to Caregiving by my father-in-law, and my first client was a woman with ALS. Caring for her showed me how much I love this work, and how meaningful it is to build trust with the people I serve. Since then I've provided care in multiple settings, including Adventist Health Tehachapi Valley and Ridgecrest Regional Hospital, assisting patients with daily living tasks, vital sign monitoring, dementia care, mobility support, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. I also have experience with in-home care, including G-tube feeding, tracheostomy care, and catheter maintenance. I'm certified in CPR, First Aid, BLS, and currently pursuing my RN prerequisites.
