About Amadis

Hello :) I began working with kids when I began my job in the Department of Education as a Paraprofessional. I've been working in this field for three years now. This job has taught me how to care for all types of children from all different grade and age ranges. This profession is so special to me and forever a fulfilling experience. I appreciate working with children because they are free spirited and authentically themselves. I love seeing children enjoy their interest freely and being able to guide them on whichever path they choose. It is exciting to see the youth achieve their greatest milestones and to be apart of that journey. In my spare time, I enjoy dancing at different studios all over New York City! Photography is a new hobby that ive been diving into lately as well as swimming/yoga. My skills include patience, attentiveness and understanding. All three skills help me understand the child and how I can meet their needs emotionally, physically and mentally.
