I currently work in a school setting and have hands-on experience supporting children with autism and other individual needs in a special education classroom. I'm patient, attentive, encouraging, and comfortable providing structure while adapting to each child's unique communication style, abilities, interests, and needs. I have experience supporting children through daily routines, learning activities, transitions, play, and social-emotional development. I enjoy building relationships with children and creating an environment where they feel safe, understood, and encouraged to be as independent as possible. I'm also comfortable following routines, strategies, and guidance provided by families and other professionals involved in a child's care.
