I currently work as a substitute teacher and am most often drawn to younger children because I love the tender, ordinary parts of helping them grow: building trust, creating calm routines, encouraging curiosity, and making little moments feel safe and special. I'm CPR certified, background checked/fingerprinted for school work, and trained as a mandated reporter. I've also taken Human Development coursework focused on infant and early childhood milestones, attachment, and learning. My background in art helps me bring creativity into play, stories, sensory activities, and simple projects, while my classroom experience has taught me patience, flexibility, and gentle redirection. I would describe myself as calm, attentive, nurturing, and genuinely invested in helping children feel known, secure, and encouraged.
