About Alyssa

Hi, I'm Alyssa, a third-year medical student with a strong background in science and math and several years of tutoring experience. I earned my undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Florida and am well versed in biology, chemistry, anatomy & physiology, and other core sciences, as well as math up through Calculus I. For the past three years, I've also been a peer tutor within my medical program, helping fellow medical students master challenging concepts and prepare for exams. This has sharpened my ability to break down complex material, adapt to different learning styles, and explain topics clearly and efficiently. I'm patient, encouraging, and focused on building both understanding and confidence. Whether a student needs ongoing support or help preparing for a specific exam, I aim to create a calm, supportive learning environment where questions are always welcome.
