About Alyssa

Hi! I'm a 5th-6th ELA grade teacher with a passion for helping students build confidence in reading and writing. I have also taught math 3rd grade and below. I specialize in making learning engaging and accessible, especially for students who may need extra support or a boost before the next school year. I offer personalized tutoring based on each child's needs, whether that's strengthening reading comprehension, improving writing skills, or reviewing key math concepts. I also love incorporating fun, hands-on strategies to keep kids motivated and excited to learn. I'm available for summer tutoring and can work one-on-one or in small groups.
