About Alyssa

Unlocking a student's unique potential through personalized support is the cornerstone of my teaching philosophy. During my year of tutoring, I have learned that creating an engaging, patient environment is essential for academic growth. I actively assess your learning style by observing how you interact with new material and encouraging open dialogue about your preferences. To keep you motivated, I connect complex concepts to your personal interests and celebrate every small success along the way. I maintain clear communication with parents to ensure we remain a collaborative team. My experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) allows me to provide tailored guidance across subjects like English, Science, and Study Skills. Seeing your confidence soar as you master a challenging topic is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to helping you reach your goals and discovering the joy of learning together.
