About Alyssa

For two decades, I've dedicated my life to nurturing young minds and supporting families. My passion lies in fostering children's growth and development, and making a positive impact on their lives. I am a patient, calm, friendly, and approachable caregiver. I have a graduate degree, am a certified teacher, and have completed coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE). I am currently a special education pre-k in MCPS, with a total of 12 years of experience. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning with children. I am comfortable enforcing household rules. I am happy to provide regular updates via text or phone call, and I always follow the parents' preferred communication method. I am willing to help with cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I am comfortable caring for up to three children.
