About Alyssa

Hi, my name is Alyssa! I graduated Summa Cum Laude from USF in December of 2022 with my bachelors in International Business. Throughout my time at both USF and HCC, I tutored college peers as well as middle and high schoolers in various subject areas. My most recent experience is in business-related courses, such as accounting, finance, marketing, and management. Mathematics is my most common subject that I tutor for, primarily algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus. I like to approach tutoring by letting the student lead, allowing them to first showcase what they do understand, then building on that understanding with a variety of practice-problems while simultaneously explaining the why behind their methods.
