About Alyssa

I have been living with and caring for my 91 yr old grandmother just over the last two years. I have assisted her at doctors appointments, hospital stays, and recovery from a broken hip. I advocated for her to get checked for dementia, which is when we (as a family) learned she has slow progression Alzheimer's, watching her slowly decline has given me more patience and empathy. I take her weekly grocery shopping, along with trips to the mall for personal shopping. I help her around the home with gardening, trips to the local dump, organizing her home. I run her errands with her including the Dollar tree for birthday cards and medication refills. I cook dinners 3-4 nights a week. I cut her hair as well. I say all this to let you know some of the things I am useful for. I would love to help your family with fulfilling these needs in caring for your elderly family member.
