About me - I am a mom to an amazing 7 and 9-year-old. I have my elementary special education teaching license and have been working with kids and individuals with disabilities for over 15 years now. I have extensive experience in working with children who have special needs that range from behavioral challenges, autism, developmental delays and feeding difficulties. I also have experience with feeding tubes, oxygen use and seizure management. Certifications- CPR, first aid, PCA certified, K-12 special education (Developmental Disabilities). I enjoy planning themed learning units that tailor to each stage of development (under the sea, space, community helpers, etc) along with supplemental learning materials, books, songs and daily art projects! Daily ongoing, open communication with parents/guardians is something I pride myself in!
