About Alyssa

I have a Bachelors in elementary in education with a double specialty in ESL and Reading. I am currently a teacher and will be teaching 1st and 2nd grade come August, but would love to help out for the summer. I have tutored both freelance and through America Reads and Counts for six years. I have 10 years of child care experience. I have watched ages newborn to 13 years and up to seven children at a time. I was also an after school program counselor for 3 years. I have also done camp counseling. As a counselor, I have had children from kindergarten to fifth grade. I helped them with homework, organized large groups, supervised, and got to plan fun activities. I previously was a pre-K and kindergarten teacher. I also have taught swim through multiple companies to a variety of ages of children. I can provide references.
