About Alyssa

Hello, my name is Alyssa. I am currently finishing occupational therapy school and completing an internship at an inpatient hospital, where I work with individuals across acute care, rehabilitation, and long-term care units. I assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility training, adaptive equipment use, and patient education to promote independence and recovery. I also previously worked as a Rehabilitation Technician at Tampa General Hospital's pediatric unit, supporting physical therapists and maintaining a safe, organized environment. I have a strong background working with children, including over four years as a Camp Director at the YMCA, leading activities and supervising children ages 4-15 while managing schedules and parent communication. I have two years of experience as a nanny for two children, handling daily routines, school pick-ups, activities, meals, and homework, as well as full-time nanny care for a family of four. I am CPR and First Aid certified.
