About Alyssa

Hi! My name is Alyssa and I'm an experienced mom of 3 looking for a steady part-time position. I currently work a part time flexible schedule as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor after being a stay at home mom for many years. My 3 children are all in school full-time. My focus is to provide safe, engaging, age appropriate care with the environment to learn, grow, and have fun. I have my own vehicle with a safe driving record and am CPR (BLS) certified. My work as a breastfeeding peer counselor keeps me trained and updated on all current guidelines including nutrition, safety, and infant behavior. I am also pursuing birth and postpartum Doula certification and becoming a CLC (certified lactation consultant). I also facilitate a monthly breastfeeding support group. I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach, hiking, paddle boarding, cooking/baking, yoga, crafting, and reading. Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you!
