About Alyssa

Hi! My name is Alyssa. I'm 24 years old and recently graduated from Cal Poly with a degree in Veterinary Science and a minor in Chemistry. I'm currently taking some time off to focus on the things I love. As the oldest of three, I've been caring for my younger siblings for as long as I can remember. I have experience babysitting children of all ages and feel confident adapting to different needs and personalities. Last year, I also had the opportunity to care for a woman with dementia. That experience truly changed my life. It strengthened my patience, and taught me the importance of showing up with calm, steady care. Those same qualities are how I choose to approach working with kids. I bring a strong sense of responsibility and compassion to everything I do, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids. Whether it's playing outside, helping with homework, or organizing fun activities, I aim to create a positive and caring environment. I'd love the chance to get to know your family!
