Hi there! I am a recent graduate student with my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Prior to moving to Alabama, I lived in Rhode Island and worked in Massachusetts as a Therapeutic Mentor, then as an In-home Therapist over a span of 5 years. I worked these positions with a variety of ages, ranging from 4 to 18 years old. Prior to my therapy career, I was an in-home daycare teacher, and cared for children between the ages of 3 months to 6 years old. I have experience and education of working with youth and teens with mental health diagnoses, including (but not limited to) ADHD, ASD, and anxiety. My role consisted of bringing youth into the community and/or conducting activities in homes. Although I would not be providing counseling services in this role, I have managed high-risk behaviors in my previous career, and am comfortable working in homes with pets. I am first aid, CPR and AED certified.
