About Alyssa

I have been caring for children since the age of 13. At 16, I drove, made food, and had tons of fun with the children! My duties included not only taking care of children but also, driving, cooking, helping with homework, as well as making sure they are safe. This job has improved my organization and supervision skills as well as my skills to interact with the public. It also has taught me to become more mature and patient. I am also a martial artist and a martial arts instructor which has given me the opportunity to work with children as well. My duties as a martial arts instructor includes teaching, mentoring, and preparing children and adults in a martial arts career and field. This teaches them how to be safe in any surrounding and how to protect themselves in the circumstance becomes apparent. I have been able to gain trust by the parents and students and make them all feel safe. This has taught me to leadership skills as well as social skills. It also has taught me new reasons to fall in love with the sport all over again.
