About Alyssa

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With two years of experience in Math, English, and Science, I focus on building critical thinking and problem-solving skills that foster long-term success. I adapt my methods by observing how you interact with new material and maintaining open communication about your preferences. When concepts feel overwhelming, I break them into manageable steps and connect the subject matter to your personal interests to keep you engaged. I believe that clear, consistent dialogue between students and parents is the foundation of a collaborative learning environment. Watching your confidence grow as you master new skills is the most rewarding part of my work. I hold CPR training and First Aid certifications. I truly look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals and celebrating your progress together.
