About Alyssa

Hi! I'm currently a film student at AFI, but one of my greatest joys outside of school is spending time with kids, encouraging their curiosity and creativity through things like art, storytelling, and imaginative play. Growing up, I was lucky enough to have mentors who shared their love of making art with me, and now I love passing that joy along to the next generation. Over the years, I've had the wonderful opportunity to work with children in a variety of settings. I'm calm, patient, and creative, and always aim to create a fun and supportive environment. I believe in open, honest communication with parents and will gladly follow your preferred ways of keeping you in the loop about your child's day. I'm also comfortable with helping out around the house, playing with the children, and helping with homework! I'm trained in First Aid and CPR, and I am comfortable with caring for two children at a time, possibly a third given the ages of all the children.
