About Alyssa

I'm currently a junior at Delaware Technical Community College, pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. I'm passionate about working with children and creating a safe, caring, and positive environment where they can learn, grow, and have fun. I have several years of childcare experience, beginning with helping my aunt with her in-home daycare. Since then, I have cared for children ranging from infants to 11 years old. Through my Early Childhood Education program, I am doing observation hours at my college's childcare center, where I gain hands-on experience with infants and preschoolers and learn more about child development and age-appropriate learning. I enjoy planning activities that match each child's interests, includes outdoor play, board games, arts and crafts, educational activities, and creative activities that encourage imagination. I'm dependable, patient, caring, and attentive, and I look forward to providing your children with a safe and enjoyable experience!
