About Alyssa

Unlocking a student's unique potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience, I specialize in building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning in students from elementary through high school. I prioritize critical thinking over rote memorization, helping you master Math, English, History, and test preparation through personalized, manageable steps. I assess your individual learning style by observing how you engage with new material, allowing me to adapt my approach using visual aids, hands-on activities, or open discussion. I believe clear, consistent communication with both you and your parents is the foundation of our success. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or a local coffee shop, I am committed to helping you reach your academic goals. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing your confidence grow as those "aha!" moments finally click into place.
