About Alyssa

Hi, my name is Alyssa! I have over 10 years of experience working with children in many different settings, from babysitting and nannying to teaching and program leadership. Most recently, I served as an Assistant Director and Lead Teacher at a preschool in Scottsdale, where I worked with infants through age six, created engaging curriculum, and helped hundreds of children grow in a safe, nurturing environment. I've cared for children of all ages from infants to teens and have supported many children with disabilities and behavioral needs. I'm comfortable with school pick-ups, driving to appointments and practices, and planning fun, engaging routines at home. My graduate-level training in speech pathology also gave me a strong background in child development and communication. Families describe me as reliable, caring, and energetic, and I truly love being a positive and supportive part of a child's life. I also love pets, being outdoors, and staying active.
