About Alyssa

I have plenty of experience taking care of the elderly. From bathing to listening to them talk about their youth and taking time in between call lights to talk and listen to some of the residents(some residents family's couldn't visit very often because of work or simply the distance). I also know basic exercises to help them retain some mobility(ones where they lay in the bed and I help them with different movements). I know how to do catheter care and how to clean certain types of wounds. I know basic dementia care as well. Honestly all of that is pretty basic stuff CNA's have to know how to do. Though if there is a certain way an injury needs to be bandaged, please let me know. That why I do it properly. Also I would like to know what foods they like(and drink). Also if there are words I should avoid. After all they might have some type of emotional trauma or anxiety related to certain words or topics.
