I have been teaching for 5 years and am looking to transition out of the classroom into a new and challenging work environment. I have experience with children from newborn up to 13 years old. I have a passion for learning and supporting children, and am looking to use my previous experiences to catapult me into a new challenge outside of the classroom.

Alyssa was a high school student intern during her senior year, and came to my job-site 2-3 times a week for about and hour to an hour and a half each time. I am a speech language pathologist at an elementary school and middle school servicing students in kindergarten through 8th grade. She observed and interacted with students I saw for speech and language therapy. She chose to intern with me since she desires to become a speech language pathologist. Alyssa asked lots of good questions to seek more knowledge about her chosen field, and my students enjoyed seeing her bright smiling face each time she visited. She was willing to listen, observe, and interact with the students to learn more about them and myself on a personal level. I know she will do a great job working with children.
