About Alyssa

Hi! My name is Alyssa and I have been working in childcare for 6 years and counting! My journey started as a preschool teacher. I began working with 2-3-year-olds as a lead teacher for 3 years. I loved being able to see the kids in my class learn and grow so quickly! I especially loved visiting the library to check out new books to read to them during circle time. Afterwards, I spent 3 years teaching English to middle schoolers. That was another rewarding experience. I loved seeing their determination to learn a new language and making friends despite language barriers. I am currently a supervisor at a fitness club where we work with children ages 3 months - 12 years. It's been a new and interesting experience. I am also in school earning my Master's. I'm currently in morning classes and one evening class, so I am mostly available in the afternoon. I am CPR/First Aid Certified through the Red Cross, I do not smoke, and I have a clean driving record.
