Supporting the independence and well-being of seniors is my true passion. With eight years of dedicated experience, I provide compassionate, reliable care that helps your loved ones thrive in their own homes. I am patient, calm, and deeply empathetic, ensuring that every individual feels heard and respected. I prioritize understanding your loved one's personal history and preferences to build a meaningful connection. My services include mobility assistance, meal preparation, medical management, and light housekeeping. I am skilled at de-escalating stressful situations and adapting to changing routines with ease. I hold CPR Training and First Aid Training certifications to ensure safety at all times. I maintain open communication through your preferred method, whether that is daily written reports or regular phone updates. I look forward to becoming a trusted partner in your family's journey and treating your loved one with the same kindness I would offer my own.
If you know anything about dementia and Alzheimer’s, you know that new people and changes in routine usually do not go over well. But from the very beginning, Alyssa was different. After only a few visits, she completely won our mom over, and before long they were inseparable. Alyssa helped Mom start each day with dignity and care — making sure she took her medications, helping to remind her about showering, and ensuring she was clean, comfortable, and cared for. But what made Alyssa truly special was that she never treated our mom like just another patient. She saw her as a person. She took Mom on little outings, to get her nails done, to wander the dollar store looking for “treasures,” and helped her continue enjoying life during a season that can so easily become isolating. As a daughter balancing work and raising a young family, Alyssa became my eyes and ears and gave me the peace of mind of knowing my mama was safe, happy, and genuinely loved. Our mom went to be with Jesus last November and spent time in two additional facilities after her time with Alyssa, but we truly believe Alyssa is a huge part of why Mom was able to maintain her independence and joy for as long as she did. Alyssa was never “just” a caregiver to our family. She became family, and we will always be grateful for the love, compassion, patience, and dignity she gave our mom during such an important chapter of her life.
