About Alyssa

Hello! I'm a former teacher turned work-from-home mom. I have my BA and MA from Saint Louis University as well as my Teaching and Substitute Teaching certificates in the state of Missouri. I've been working in childcare since my first real job at 15, working in after school programs for my local elementary schools. My daughter, Rory, is 18 months old and a very sweet and rambunctious kid. My schedule can be easily tailored for regular care, date night babysitting, or the occasional overnight. We are a one-car-family so traveling to/from your house before 6 p.m. during the week will be a challenge if it's not a walkable distance. I am, however, very open to watching children in my home, where we have an over abundance of toys, a large fenced-in yard, and several animal friends to play with. My skills include conflict management, de-escalation, and empathy.
