About Alyssa

It’s truly impossible to put into words what Alyssa has meant to our family. From the moment she walked through our door (2 years ago), she became so much more than a nanny, she became family. She has been like a second mom to our two children (now 2.5 years and 10 months), and I can say with complete honesty that there is no one in this world who cares more about their happiness, wellbeing, and growth than she does. Her love is so palpable that friends, relatives and even strangers have stopped us to say how lucky we are, because it’s instantly clear to anyone who sees her with our kids just how deeply she cares for them and how incredibly good she is at what she does. Alyssa has also literally never called out sick 1 time in TWO YEARS... She has shown up every single day with joy, energy, humor, and the most genuine care imaginable. She is the most reliable, positive, and uplifting person, the kind of person who makes everything feel lighter and better just by being there. To me, she’s been more than a caregiver, she’s become one of my closest friends, someone I trust completely, and someone I turn to not only for support but for laughter, advice, and love. Our daughter and her daughter have become best friends, which has only made the bond that much more meaningful. The truth is, Alyssa could do anything. She is smart, capable, calm under pressure, and unbelievably funny. “Nanny” doesn’t even begin to describe her - she could run a company, lead a team, or take on the world. But somehow, we were lucky enough to have her choose to spend this season of her life with our family. And we are better for it in every single way. The only reason we’re parting ways is because she’s moving across the country. If there were a way to keep her with us forever, we would do it in a heartbeat. She has left an imprint on our hearts and our home that will never fade. Whoever is lucky enough to have Alyssa next will be getting a true gift because she is the kind of person you dream of, but rarely find. All of that to say, Alyssa is one in a billion and no amount of praise or words could ever convey just how much she has meant to us..
