About Alyssa

I'd describe my personality as nuturing, energetic and patient. I like working with kids because it is very fulfilling. I worked as a coach for 3 years and with a school social worker for a year, and the bond they build with you when they trust you is a wholesome feeling. I started working with kids when I was in 8th grade volunteer babysitting for a church group. I continued volunteering with kids in many different forms such as coaching elementary school basketball, high school cross country and softball, and have done side jobs babysitting for co-workers, friends, and family. In my spare time, I like to go to the gym, spend time with family, making different sweets. One thing you should know about me is that I have a lot of energy so I'm always willing to learn new things that will keep the kids engaged and entertained. My skills include patience for children of any age, communication, and the ability to be empathetic and understanding when it comes to a child's emotions.
