I found my passion working with individuals with special needs during college when I worked as a substitute teacher for specialized classrooms. After loving the experiences I had in the classroom, I decided to work at a specialized camp for individuals ages 6-22 with ASD and/or ADD/ADHD. I spent 3 months at the camp getting over 100 hours of experience every week and learning valuable tools to help those with ASD thrive and learn important developmental skills. I enjoy immensely working with children on the spectrum and getting to know their beautiful brain while simultaneously seeing them grow farther than they thought was capable.
