About Alyssa

Kindergarten Teacher of 4 years - Empowering elementary students to master critical thinking and problem-solving is the cornerstone of my teaching practice. With four years of experience as a Certified teacher, I specialize in Math, English, and Science. I assess each student's unique learning style by actively listening and observing how they engage with new material. To keep lessons motivating, I prioritize celebrating small successes and providing consistent positive reinforcement. I believe that open communication is essential to building a collaborative, trusting environment between the student, the parent, and myself. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills remains the most rewarding part of my work. I am happy to meet at your home, a library, or any local center to support your child's academic journey. I look forward to helping your student thrive and discover the joy of learning.
