About Alyssa

Hello! My name is Alyssa, and I am 20 years old. I have been working with children since high school, where I completed a childcare program and interned at Head Start. After graduating in 2023, I extended my internship at Head Start through the summer. During this time, I discovered my passion for preschool education and working with children. Following the conclusion of my summer internship, I was hired at Head Start Quinn Center in Taunton, MA, initially as a long-term substitute and later promoted to a FLOAT Teacher Assistant. I hold EEC certification as well as CPR certification for infants through adults. I worked at Head Start until early November 2025, when I made the difficult decision to focus full-time on completing my associate degree, which I am set to graduate with in spring 2026. Although I had to leave, I greatly miss working with children, which is why I am now exploring opportunities as a nanny.
